In summer, those who are fond of trekking can take advantage of the nearby hiking trails of Alta Badia, that lead towards the Deer Park Paraciora, Sompunt Lake and the Gardenaccia Massif, which makes part of the Puez-Geisler Nature Park. Those who prefer moving around by bike, will find themselves less than 1 km away from the starting line of the legendary Maratona dles Dolomites and just a few metres away from the Gardenaccia Freeride Area with its breath-taking downhill runs. To enjoy the pleasures of shopping and nightlife, you can head to the nearby town of Bruneck / Brunico (30 km away), to luxurious Cortina d'Ampezzo (34 km away), to elegant Brixen / Bressanone (60 km away) or to characteristic Bozen / Bolzano, the capital of South Tyrol.
